My clients tell me that counselling has helped them find peace of mind. It's clear that many of us are searching for the same thing. The difference is how we get there.
I am an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on a number of disciplines, which can include; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic approaches. In addition, I sometimes suggest using creative ways to work, which can help us explore deep rooted issues in a way that feels more comfortable.
Whatever brings you to counselling, you can rely on me to be passionate about supporting you through your difficulties and to help you with times when circumstances may seem hard to bear on your own.
In everything I do, confidentiality is paramount and as a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I adhere to their code of ethics to ensure safe & ethical practice.
Therapeutic intervention can support your recovery by helping you to understand the underlying issues and develop your strengths. You can talk to me about anything, these might include:

Taking the first step can be hard, but I want you to feel reassured that I can offer you a trusted environment where you'll be heard and understood. I will support you, so you are able to share your thoughts and feelings openly, without being judged.
